Last year when Miles would not want to play Beckwith over Welter at MLB is the same thing we have this year with Harris not playing over Jennings. Miles is stubborn and can't figure out his talent on the team. Also darrell williams getting more touches than LF, cmon please! Next year I'm predicting Harris to have a breakout year just like beckwith is having

Halfway through the season after weve already lost multiple games?

You're an optimist. There's nothing wrong with that. I am a realist. Past history tells me we will get a heavy dose of AJ the next 2+ years.

I will bump this when AJ steps on the field in 2015 and 2016.

Well, you do have to admit that your entire premise is based on the opinion that JL was better than JJ. I think the opposite. I don't think anyone is of that opinion with the current situation. I mean hell, Lee started first and got pulled for JJ his freshman year. Other than that, that has been no qb controversies.

I think the offense was head and shoulders better with Lee at QB. But that's not why I think that. I think that because Miles has shown undying loyalty to a player when he determines who will be the starter (Welter excluded but I am willing to beat that was Chavis because I do not see Miles interfering with the defense much).

Beckwith was being groomed as a DE. Don't even start to think this was Miles' doing.

I kinda get annoyed when people say this.

1. we have only had a moderately similar situation once,
2. in that situation both QBs sucked. JJ sucked, JL also sucked.
3. the reason JJ finished out the season in 2011, is because Les thought the option gave us a wrinkle we needed to beat Bama, and JL Historically played like shite against Bama.

We have that situation now except worse.

Harris was head and shoulders above AJ vs. Moo State and New Mexico State.

Both were equally horrible against Auburn.

To me Harris playing right now is a no brainer. Look at what we have.

I hope you are correct, hell I don't care if it is Harris, Jennings or a draft pick to be named later. I just hope we correct the issues we had this year.

I acknowledge that, but Lee was clearly better than Jefferson, and the team responded better to Lee.

First half of the season is easy. MSU loses a lot this year, we get Auburn at home and they lose a lot as well. We have E. Michigan, Syracuse, and McNeese St as OOC opponents. By then Harris should be pretty freaking set to face South Carolina on the road.

I disagree, and the stats are more in my favor.
