Under BK it’s evident the team typically isnt ready to go outta the gate. However, I will say the staff does a good job correcting things by the second half. If LSU can just get off to better starts, I think they have a real shot against Ole Piss and Bama. Keep the game close going into half and I like our chances.

As much as I like the halftime adjustments, I really hate how unprepared the team is out of the gate. In 3 years we have yet to see a dominating game for 4 quarters from Kelly's teams.

Problem is, against good teams, even with halftime adjustments, it’ll be hard to come back once down.

Halftime adjustments- Dom McKinley, Shone Washington in, Paez and Breaux out. Changed the game

The game is four quarters… You have to judge the game in totality also. I’ll never understand how we held a team to less than 20 rushing yards and scored almost 40 and this board is posting like we won 3-2.

I will say….. LSU has traditionally been a slow starter. Even under Miles, O and Saban.

What made Aranda very good is that he would make adjustments after the first 1-2 drives of the game and didn't need a 20 minute timeout to figure it out.

Because, starting games and season’s is an alarming reality. LSU, under Kelly, has had 8 games with double digit deficits in the first half of games. That’s highly alarming and very unacceptable.

Not having your team prepared to play out the gate for a full 4 quarters regularly, not just a few times, is very disappointing and concerning.
