This is where I disagree. The only person he owes anything to is Lee. He owes the fans nothing. He will incur a lot of anger though without some explanation. That's his choice though

This is where you and I disagree. He doesn't owe a reasoning alone for JJ to the LSU faithful. He owes an apology and explanation to the fanbase for how it happened that he embarrassed the university on the biggest stage and was so thoroughly unprepared for the biggest game of his coaching career.

In the end, LSU fans are shareholders in LSU athletics. They pay for his salary, his assistants salaries, for the scholarships, etc.

I agree with Bobby Hebert and have felt for a long time that coaches are allowed to get away with murder and never expected to own up and take responsibility for their mistakes until the program is in the shitter.

Les should be thoroughly ripped to shreds after monday night by Louisiana and national media and he should own up to what a pathetic coach he has been the past 6 weeks.

He would be an idiot if he says anything more than "The team did not come to play, it is not the team I know, it starts with me and I have to make sure it does not happen again".

no he does not,and if Lee was supposed to graduate and has grade issues well then there you go no play for Lee. Cost us PM too

Idiot.

Really?

There were never grade issues with JL. Rumor only. CLM and LSU made that clear after finals.

If he bumped a class for any reason, so be it. But there were no "academic" issues.

Go give JJ a back rub. Maybe you'll both feel better.

Ok, after your very mature post above you have changed my mind. Thanks for making me see the light. I completely agree now with you and Guilbeau! Miles should for sure apologize to all of us for going 13-1, winning a SEC Championship, and making the national championship. DAMN him for not doing more

Surprise you could even spell maturity..but congrats on that....and glad u see it my way now!!!

“It was my decision to keep Jefferson in there,” Miles said. “The reason was they were teeing off and I wanted a guy who had the ability to move his feet.”

Jesus, what a dumbass we have as coach.

This is the same judgment that led to the hiring of Crowton, keeping of Stud, promotion of Malloveto, and the time management clusterfricks.

What a moron.

I still see that some of yall feel CLM owes absolutely no explanation at all to the fans....Ill never understandthis line of thinking at all.

WE are the ones keeping these rich fking coaches in these fat contracts for years!!!!! They by god do need to answer for their actions because smug silence does nothing but imply some kind wrongdoing or guilt...and besides what would an apology or explanation actually hurt!!!!

Can anyone answer that question PPLLLEEEZZZ!!!

he should have been playing Lee in spots here and there ever since the first Alabama game. That would have given LSU a more varied attack. Jefferson struggled in nearly every game as a starter. LSU kept winning, but only because of special teams and defense. Gradually, the offense got worse and worse."

This may be the one time I agree with this tool.

Les preached and preached that playing 2 QB's gave us an advantage.

Les wanted to make sure Jefferswag didn't blow out his knee kneeling the ball.
