You cannot go to him in this situation in this park. I don’t blame the coaches at all for Sheerin but you can’t go to Gavin in this tiny park this late when a nuke beats you.

I would like to know WHY Guidry was brought to face Ga best hitter....and why would he make such a bad pitch with two strike to HANG a curve ball right down the middle of the plate, especially when he had two strikes, two out and first base open? If anything, throw the curve outside and hope he goes after it while protecting the plate/situation. Just horrible execution by Guidry and even worse by JJ / Yeskie in preparing him for such a situation and then putting him out there, of all the pitchers we have. I just don't know the WHY if ever entered JJ's mind to make that change to Guidry. Just shook my head and realized this season is most likely over.
