That’s a great and terrible story.

Freek, for whatever an internet stranger’s advice is worth, please give up the hospice work and do something else. You are to gif-comedy what Rodney Dangerfield was to one-liners. Death will come to us all, and nothing will change that. But you have a rare gift to bring joy, the essence of life that allows us to smile and wistfully thumb our noses at our grim, inevitable fate.

TLDR; frick death, make gifs.

If thats what he is doing now you my friend are a Tard. Being in the Healthcare industry I understand the special type of person it takes to work in Hospice on any level. That is lords work and GiF making although enjoyment for us to read itsn't shite in the big scheme of life.
Speaking of that you may need to work on one Bubba.

I respectfully disagree.

Sure, working hospice is a difficult, noble profession, but it is not for everyone. If the cost of the sacrifice is giving up not only your talent but your entire sense of humor, there’s nothing ignoble about leaving that job to someone better suited to that calling.

Creativity, art, comedy, letting your light shine instead of placing it under a bushel. That’s God’s work too.

I would hope that Freek doesn’t choose a grim, joyless life only to satisfy someone else’s notion of what is “god’s work”.
