I see Miles offering JJ option to redshirt and have a full senior year, or play rest of year as backup with chance to regain starter role only if Lee struggles.
this is the best and most likely scenario.

No.

Hell no and he shouldn't get any portion of the snaps unless something goes badly wrong. JL can lead this team and through three games this year I have more confidence in our team than I ever have at any point in jefferson's career. Lee is getting better just like most of us imagined. It has already been proven that Jefferson cannot get better as time goes on. I have said it since this began and will say it again, Jefferson has already reached his ceiling and Lee has not. Considering what we have seen from both, Lee is the only logical choice. And don't cut into his snaps, that just throws the whole offense off. I am not anti-Jefferson, but there is no possible scenario in which he should receive snaps IMO. He should be #3 on the depth chart for the rest of his career. Mett needs the #2 reps to get him more experience and ready for next year. JJ just doesn't bring anything to the table that this team lacks.

Some of you ladies are hilarious. We must protect the players' fragile psyches.

Think of the children.

No DNA match means the test was negative, not inconclusive. Did the prosecutor write the headline?

Not saying JJ is guilty. Only the real witnesses know what he did and didn't do. BUT how many days after this incident did they wait to get the 49 pairs of shoes? At least a few if memory serves. Ample time to get rid of any that might incriminate him.

Regardless of his guilt or innocence, I'm happy with Lee as our QB. The "knowns" with Lee are better to build on than the "unknowns" from game to game with JJ. He can really hurt us. He was terrible last year against West Virginia. That was one of the most frustrating games I've ever been to. That game, if I'm remembering correctly, was where the boo birds came out. It was ugly and inappropriate as a player has no idea if a fan is booing the player or the coaches but thinking about his play last year brings back bad, bad memories of an offense that couldn't get anything going. We are better off with Lee and if he falters then we're better to move on to Mett.

But why would anyone want him to redshift. The next two years are Mett's, end of story. We have the chance to be special this year and next. The only thing this can do is screw it up

Exactly. You want to see a divided team, don't reinstate him after the case is dropped and all hell will break loose.

I'd love to use him in red zone situations... Read options, use his athletic ability to put pressure on the defense. I've been impressed with Lee, but you can't say that Jefferson wouldn't bring anything to this offense.

Hillar presents a poor case, by design, and the Grand Jury returns with no true bill. No indictment.

This, kind of.,

the standard for indictment is much easier to meet than the standards in trial, and the DA runs the grand jury. If the grand jury doesn't indict I think it means the case is no good but Hillar doesn't want to be seen as lenient to LSU players, so he lets the grand jury end the case.

All of this shite is way too soon. Let's see what happens with the GJ before everybody gets their panties in a wad.

Wow, do we really think Les is not felling anything for both players for being what it appears falsely accused.

That is ONE issue.

I think as always, Les will play the best prepared player.

This is another issue. If JJ comes back and Miles puts him in as a steater. You can kiss LEE'S ability GOODBYE. It would crush ANY confidence he has built up after all the shite he has went through. LEE has LED this team to 3 wins that IMO JJ could not have done. NOT COMPARING, JUST stating was is obvious.

I tried not to laugh at this, but i failed.

I guess I just want to see Les handle this so it doesn't cause distractions. To my eyes, Lee has earned the right to be the starter, under the most difficult of circumstances...one week before the opening game with last year's runner up.

That trumps being named the starter based on training camp IMO. At this point, I would prefer to see Jefferson redshirt.

Please tell me that you actually think JJ is a better option? Lee has shown in 3 games that he can throw the ball. Have you seen that from Jefferson?

Team. He definitely won't start since he hasn't practiced in forever.
