You really this stupid? Duke was a state representative. The most damage he could accomplish was to help contribute to the failing of Louisiana. Franken will likely be a member of the U.S. senate. What he does and how he votes will affect everyone in this country.
I don't care who Minnesota elects to its state house but I do have a vested interest in who they send to Washington.

I like Franken. He's intelligent and well-read. Besides, anyone who makes an arse out of FOX news (remember the "fair and balanced" lawsuit debacle?) is okay in my book.

What's not to like about a myoptic thinking politician destined to follow party line without question. Just that we already have 99 others in the senate with those very same credentials. If you think Franken brings anything to Washington other than a mean spirit you haven't been paying close enough attention. What makes Franken stand out is his pettiness. I have never heard this man speak where he didn't lower himself to mindless name calling. Its one of the reasons his radio show was a dismal failure.

Can't believe people really voted for him. What have Minnesotans been sniffin. We have a stripper that may run for an office-maybe we could hook them up for a magic show.
