Vols are hot and will beat Aubie at home. Doubt Cats lose 2 in a row, down go Gaytors.

I was coming here to post this. as bad as things feel right now. I think we’re actually about to get this 2 seed. Florida not winning at Kentucky. Auburn sucks on the road + Tennessee is hot. we’ve been good at home. it’s strangely shaping up. tonight was a weird game with all those fouls (we won’t have 31 fouls for the rest of the season) that I expected to lose beforehand and we battled hard in that 2nd half. get a good win saturday, get to the SEC Semis and let’s see what happens in some neutral site action. I know optimism is a weird way to go after tonight’s game and how bad we played, but I actually feel just fine.

GA game on Sat is kind of a big deal.

Really big deal.

Lose and double bye likely left to a tiebreaker scenario.

None of current top 6 teams can knock the other out of contention for double bye.

Only UK and UF play each other Sat.

Wrong. double bye is clinched. we have tie breakers over SC and Mississippi State, so 4 seed is our floor.

Have people done the tiebreak if LSU, Auburn, Florida, Mississippi State, and South Carolina all finish 11-7?

We’re guaranteed a double bye already. Now seeding 2-4 is still up for grabs though.

If we lose to Georgia I’m going to jump off the bridge

ETA: on the broadcast tonight they said a double bye is clinched

Against those teams

Auburn is 3-1
LSU is 3-2
Florida is 3-2
Mississippi State is 2-3
South Carolina is 1-4

Looks like LSU is safe

I don’t know what the tiebreaker would be given the fact that up to 5 teams could be tied for 2nd at 11-7.

If the network said it’s a lock I would think they would know.
