Random guesses that have no weight. Makes perfect sense.

Looking back on 2012, Mett had to withstand a large number of brutal hits last year and he did, some occurred against LSU's weaker opponents. Part of the reason is that LSU's O line had to be reshuffled due to injury. But Alabama's quarterback and others also took many hits, leading me to believe it has more to do with the SEC becoming a much stronger conference. One could imply that is an omen.
Another was that LSU was shockingly able to sign in the same year, two of the best quarterbacks in the country, and they're getting valuable reps in spring practice.
I have strong feeling that Mett will not be able to start every game due to injury, it's not a wish or a hope, but a realization of what will most likely occur. Would be great if Mett manages to avoid such a pounding, but he's playing in the most toughest conference ever assembled in the history of college football, where there is as much risk as reward.
With LSU recently signing two great quarterbacks and having them participate in spring practices, LSU is preparing well for what awaits the Tigers in their future. Rivers will very likely start if Mett gets hurt, but don't appear so shocked if one these great freshmen ends up outplaying Rivers in practices and ends up with more playing time. Yes, they are that good. Geaux Tigers.

No random guessing is required for intelligent Tiger fans who realize that in this new and tougher conference, there will be much higher risks and rewards for players, fans and coaches. The juggling of player personnel is sure to be more intense due to more injuries and more draftable players leaving early out of fear of injury.
Just as Coach Miles gets called out for some stupid stuff sometimes, lets give him credit for realizing this, judging by his recruit of the right players and staff to deal with our future needs. Of course, he'll never hear that from the haters.

GTFO, you are basically desiring a player to get a concussion. You might want to see what having one does to your own brain, it certainly can't do too much damage as you were dropped repeatedly by your mother.

more likely that Jennings beats Mett out before the start of the season
