When I pick up a paper and Guilbeau has an article in it, I do not read past the headline.

Piss on him. He's the typical $150 a week reporter who has to do outlandish crap to get notice.

How often is he right on predicting anything?

How anyone would hire this douche bag is beyond me. About the only other job he'd have if it still existed would be pumping gas at a service station.

Trump is a con man. Everyone who voted for him is ignorant. O and LSU will be just fine.

Like Guilbeau I hope O can succeed

But facts suggest otherwise.

And it was done. Emmert wasn’t looking for a bargain. He was shopping at Neiman Marcus, and he got value over a long period of time because he didn’t settle for journeyman defensive assistant coach Phil Bennett, who could have been hired at bargain prices. He didn’t settle for defensive coordinator Mike Archer as Dean did after the 1986 season and found himself looking for a new coach just four years later … and another just four years later … and another just five years later.

Brutal, but I think, accurate.

Herman could have been LSU’s first true offensive head coach hire in history. Instead, it hired a defensive line coach whose new offense got shut out against Alabama, which allowed an average of 36 points to Ole Miss and Arkansas this season, and managed three points through more than a dozen goal-line plays in a 16-10 loss to Florida two weeks ago.

Yawner. Selective use of stats. Bad use of facts and situation and so on.

quote:

According to Kirk Bohls, an extremely credible reporter who covers Texas for the Austin American-Statesman, Herman’s agent Trace Armstrong told LSU it could hire Herman for $6 million. “And LSU said no,” Armstrong said, according to Bohls.

So, not just a credible reporter BUT and EXTREMELY credible reported. Surprise GG did not bold and underline for effect.

This is called damage control to make Herman not look like a money hungry capitalist. That is frowned upon now days you know.

GG is hack but he did his job. Sold some ads.

He might be this and that but but nailed this one. I am from the bayou and couldn't be more happy and proud of our new coach but this could easily happen. It could work out but it could be bad. Shame that we didnt have coaches knocking down on our door to coach the Tigers. Maybe this is not the place i always dreamed it would be.
