This is such a dumb argument. LSU wasn't ranked #2 in the first 2018 playoff poll because they lost to UF. So, now you are spinning this as a negative Miles and Pro Orgeron thing because Orgeron lost to a team he should have beat earlier than Miles did?

Have you checked out where LSU's November opponents stand as far as national rankings are concerned?
2018 November opponents:
Alabama: 19th rushing defense, 22nd passing defense, 13th total defense
Arkansas: 70th rushing defense, 87th passing defense, 79th total defense
Rice: 69th rushing defense, 125th passing defense, 103 total defense
A&M: 4th rushing defense, 98th passing defense, 32nd total defense
There's been a lot of talk about the 2015 November collapse by the team. Here's the defensive rankings for those teams.
2015 November opponents:
Alabama: Ist rushing defense, 30th passing defense, 3rd total defense
Arkansas: 12th rushing defense, 117th passing defense, 58th total defense
Ole Miss: 23rd rushing defense, 105th passing defense, 54th total defense
A&M: 108th rushing defense, 4th passing defense, 51st total defense
Arkansas and Ole Miss had really lousy pass defenses in 2015, and it would have been great to have better games against them, but Harris passed for 271 yards against Arky and 324 yards against Ole Miss. But they both had tough run defenses that year. And of course that was the year that Kevin Steele was the DC.
Alabama and A&M were pretty stout defenses to go against in 2018, other than A&M's 98th ranked pass defense. Arkansas and Rice were pretty damn soft. against both the run and the pass.
