Gameday Traffic (Dalrymple Dr.)

Why did they randomly decide to close Dalrymple at E State St this past weekend? Diverting traffic onto State creating a huge cluster.
Every game this season, I’ve been able to exit Dalrymple and park off of W Lakeshore, except for UGA.
They did it last year too vs Auburn.
Is there a certain cutoff time I’m not aware of?

Weren't the frats tailgating along Dalrymple Saturday? I wonder if things were getting out of hand with them.

Yeah, it was terrible. Also, why wasn't Nicholson only going one way. It was backed up damned near to downtown going toward the stadium...and but a trickle the other way.
