Hello Tiga fans!! Me and the wife are heading down from Memphis for the UT game oct 8. First time coming to Baton Rouge and Tiger Stadium! Just wanted to ask if anyone had ever used the CATS transportation to and from downtown to the stadium. We also considered buying a parking pass to not have to wait in any long lines for a bus or Uber after the game if that is a problem. Any suggestions would help! Let us know what you recommend for for pregame spots and things to do. We are looking forward to seeing the city and experiencing what we hope is a night game. Bucket list trip for us!Thanks for any help! Go Vols!

Have not used CATS. I always park near the Student Rec Center behind the end of sorority row, or behind Herget Hall, then walk to the LSU Union.

Once on campus, the TAF Pregame is in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center. Right next to that is Mike the Tiger's Habitat. There are food vendors and a band playing in front of the PMAC. Also there is tailgating on the Parade Grounds in front of the Memorial Tower, along Dalrymple, near the Indian Mounds, just about anywhere on campus. Be friendly and good-natured about the 'TigerBait' chants and you'll probably be welcomed to join a tailgate.
Check out the LSU Union, the Quad, Indian Mounds, Greek Theatre, Parade Grounds, Campanile, etc.

The shuttle from Downtown to right by Tiger Stadium is very legit for $10 roundtrip.

BR CATS Game Day Shuttle info

quote:

How does Touchdown TRAX work?
CATS provides round-trip transit service to LSU’s campus for all home games during the 2022 football season. Touchdown TRAX begins taking fans to campus three hours prior to kick off. Touchdown TRAX passengers will be dropped off on campus near the LSU softball fields. After the game, fans can return to the drop off location to reload the bus and return to their place of origin, with return trips running until one hour after the game ends.

Touchdown TRAX buses will not leave LSU until the game is over.

How do I purchase Touchdown TRAX passes?
Beginning August 19, 2022, tickets for Touchdown TRAX can be purchased online via UMO x CATS or through the "UMO Mobility" App (avaliable on the App Store and Google Play). Tickets can also be purchased in person at the CATS terminal in advance of game day or from CATS staff at one of the pick-up locations on game day.

Tickets are $10 per person round trip. For a limited time, LSU fans can purchase a Touchdown TRAX Season Pass, valid for all 7 LSU home games, for just $60 per person!

We highly encourge you to buy tickets ahead of time! Credit Cards and/or exact cash is encouraged for game day ticket purchases. Tickets will not available for purchase after game, if you wish to ride, you must purchase a round trip ticket prior to the game.

DO NOT buy a parking pass. Park in the Ag lot. Usually does not fill up until 3 or 4 hours before kickoff. A longer walk, but not as bad leaving versus parking in the middle of campus.
