Front Row Lunatics?

What ever happened to this group of LSU basketball fans from the early 1980s? I remember watching LSU games on TV when I was a kid growing up in Kentucky and there was always a group of about five or eight students sitting on the front row going absolutely nuts the whole gameT-shirts with "Front Row Lunatics" spelled out in purple and they were always given at least one or two high-light shots during the game.
Who were these guys? Are any of them on here? (They'd be in their 50s these days.) And, with the way Will Wade has brought back the program thus far, is there a chance that such great fans may show up at the PMAC again?
The 80's was such a great decade for basketball at LSU. It's been good to see several threads bringing up so many of those great names from Coach Brown's teams.

I was in school during some of those years. We used to walk over to BB games from the dorms. It was great clean fun for 2 hours and then back to the books. Those guys were very entertaining.

In 2000 I was a sophomore at LSU. We had a bad football season and I remember that basketball team really helped us lick our wounds. That was some of the most fun I had at any LSU sporting events....and it got LOUD! Students have no reason not to go....it’s basically free and extremely entertaining when that place/team is rocking.

I was in that group. maybe not on front row but definitely on the 2nd.Those were the days when students lined up hours before a game. I remember getting there 2 hours before I believe North Carolina game and we had been out all night partying. Game started at 11:00. All changed when they moved and reduced the student section.

I’ve recently been told that my deceased brother, Rodney Langridge, was one of the main guys that started up all of the Front Row Lunatics fun. He was killed in the summer of 79, but had been at LSU since 77. I would love to see any pictures that may include him, or hear any funny stories that anyone that knew him may have.
