After ESPN and the small network gig, an opening came up for Athletic Director at some smaller college in Nebraska, I think. Though he didn't have the requisite experience, he made a push for the gig and got it. I read the above in an article a year or two ago, so my facts might not be quite right, but that's the gist. I think it went on to say he was doing a pretty good job expanding facilities, etc. for a small school with a small budget.
I actually miss Trev. He was a dick, but it was a lot more fun to hate him than old Lou.
