Salmen vs. WM (Regionals)
West Monroe relied on it's rugged defense to shut down a better than expected Salmen. Other than a first quarter 89-yard touchdown run by TB Kenny "Quick Six" Robinson, the Salmen defense shut down a robust West Monroe offense. DB David Cole intercepted a Salmen pass and returned it 77 yards for a score, giving West Monroe a 14-0 half-time lead. WM's high-powered defense kept Salmen in check for the duration of the game, holding them for less than 60 yards rushing and 92 yards passing. Salmen scored on the sloppy play of our special teams, that resulted in a safety. This was the result off of one of two Rebel blocked punts. West Monroe
DE Jason Ledoux picked off a Salmen pass returning it for a TD and giving West Monroe a 21-2 victory.
