So if Kyler decides it’s best for his family for him to not come back out for the 2nd half, you would “understand?”

Even if he has to suffer on shite bus trips to Spokane or whatever for a couple of years it’s still worth it.

Well, when a player decides to forego his college eligibility at halftime of a CFP playoff game, I guess we can discuss this ridiculous scenario. Until then, I don't really give two shits what the Oklahoma QB does. Why do you?

I’m using an extreme an example to make a point. It’s a slippery slope. People with your position seem to not be able to draw a firm like on when it’s ok to quit to protect yourself. Now OU has obviously made it a much closer game that it looked like it was going to be, but if it was 49-0 at halftime, your logic suggests you would respect or “understand” if potential 1st rounders decided it wasn’t worth it. I think that’s chickenshit.

The line I draw is pretty clear—you start the season, you finish the season. Assuming you’re healthy. I think that’s more than fair. You owe it to your coaches teammates. They are the ones Greedy is letting down. He doesn’t owe me anything—he’s not hurting my feelings. But even though they might not be saying it publicly, you are kidding yourselves if you don’t think his teammates haven’t lost respect for him. If any of them are in a proverbial foxhole and could choose Greedy Williams or Devin White in there fighting with them. Who do you think they are going to choose? Devin has as much to lose as Greedy and not only plays a position, but a style of reckless abandon, that makes him significantly more likely to get injured than Greedy. Yet there he is, out there in Arizona with all his brothers. Because he has character. We’ll see if Greedy does, but this is an undeniable red flag.
