Take at look at the Cotton Bowl pregame huddle. Kelvin let TM14 now TM7 lead the huddle. My guess would be that was a passing of the guard to TM.

In all honesty I wouldn't mind JJ leading the huddle purely from the fact he is gonna need some confidence/support going into this season

Yeah idk about met. But it wouldn't hurt to get his team behind him. I can see Jj in the back pouting if that were to happen

i like matheiu to lead the team in the chants. He can back it up with his play on the field so why not. Love the way he plays game.
