to whom was he yelling this?
the team who is downfield, so they line up and don't come off for the FG team or subs

Yeah... we haven't been screwed by that recently

2) What do you think this "he was down" motion looked like to JJ running to the line of scrimmage with 1 second to go on the clock?
as pointed out by several other posters before... there was about 25+ seconds from TT hitting the ground til JJ's spike. Miles only did the motion for about 2 seconds. not to mention during those 2 seconds, JJ was still on his arse from Tbob missing his block.

I doubt he saw it, or maybe he did, while on the ground at mid-field. If he did see it from there and took it as a "clock it" or "spike it", he would not have been repeatedly asking the sidelines what to do when under center.

If in fact the official would have ruled that Ole Miss had gotten the ball, the clock would have had stopped for the change of possession and he would have had PLENTY of time to challenge the call at that point. His first concern should have been getting the FG team on the field. But then again this is the same coach that tried to call a time out after an interception to stop the clock...
I doubt Miles even knew the ref had made a ruling. He was toocaught up in the moment, IMO and what I bolded in your comment.

I have no idea since I wasn't on the sidelines, but I can only assume one of you were there because you are stating things as fact.
No, but the most reasonable explanations is that. And more importantly, Miles said that is what he was doing (TT down). I doubt he got that explanation from td.com.

Why don't you ask Miles who he was talking to?
He's already stated what he was saying and to whom. He's down and to the refs.
