For the Burrow vs Etling comparisons, remember who Etling had at RB his 2 years

Brossette is doing well, but there's honestly nobody in the backfield that scares opponents. That and our offensive line being in the shape that it is, Burrow is climbing a steep and perilous mountain. New system, conference, state, and a "good" running game, but nothing that will really take the pressure off the passing offense.

Burrow is the best qb we've had since the Mett. Kids a gamer, hope he stays healthy, we need him. He does have another year right?

One big difference is that Burrow isn't sacred to throw it over the middle of the field.

I'm not shitting on Etling. But I've seen, on here and I think Brad Nessler, that Burrow is just another Etling. A good QB who did his job, but wasn't going to light the world on fire. I think Burrow has a lot more to offer but is facing an uphill battle.

There’s people who think Etling is better than Burrow?
I loved Etling, but it’s obvious to anyone with eyeballs Burrow is the most confident QB LSU has had in 5 years. With this defense and Burrow, LSU will not get blown out in any games this year meaning they will always have a shot.

I think it's more about the hype on Burrow coming in, and now they want to shite on him by saying he's no better than Etling. It's not fair to either one of them.

For the people criticizing Burrow. The man is a timing QB. He doesnt have a cannon for an arm, but his passing relies on timing. He's taking alot of blame right now for WR's inept ability to hold to their routes.
