LSU is not a 4-3 defense. It is a multiple defense. As it runs both 4-3 and 3-4 and everything in between.

It’s all overblown every defense is a multiple defense in this age. There will be some 4-3, 3-4, 4-2-5, 3-3-5, 3-2-6, and 4-1-6. I’d say about 60% will be out of the 4-2-5 and the rest out of everything else.

Regardless of what we run up front, we will have no less than five DB's on the field 90% of the time. And that is a good thing, because if the spring is any indication, McGlothern needs to be on the field.
