Just a couple of tidbits from being at the game last night.

Arena was more than half way full but far from capacity. Crowd was very dull until the end of the game when it got close. Very few tiger fans but you could hear them! Talking to the florida fans next to me they were aware of the foul discrepancy and in awe of it as I was but they weren't complaining about it obviously. IDK if it showed on the telecast but Wade was visibly and audibly upset at most of the bs calls as were the players they knew they were in the middle of getting screwed. Florida fans around me kept laughing at the fact that Castleton wasnt getting called for throwing elbows every time he was under the basket. Also Shareef looked great in person dude is gonna be great for us. It was great to see the Tigers in person this season and glad we pulled out the win!

So Ive noticed that ESPN has limited it's replays tremendously this season and they intentionally keep the camera off Wade when there is anything close to a contestable call. In fact they kept going back to the flush at the buzzer saying it was obviously still in the player's hands with a blurry still that couldn't show if he was actually touching it and saying the refs are choosing not to review it. All the while the previous 3 by UF looked to be the players foot was on the line but nothing was mentioned about that. This is just going to be routine, we as fans might as well get use to it.

It was obvious on tv as well. I'm not saying that some of the foul calls weren't warranted, but Florida was getting away with fouls that LSU wasn't. What made it worse was Jimmy Dykes was deep throating Florida and Castleton and shitting on LSU. He even made the comment that the SEC has 2 Final Four teams, Auburn and Kentucky, and a couple Sweet 16 teams. Media hates LSU and they aren't even hiding it. Boot up!

I have observed that we do get a lot more fouls called than the opposition, but I figured that was due to the intense defense we put up. Last night's officiating seemed rather heavy-handed on the Tigers big time. To still get the win speaks volumes of this team!
