At what point do people stop denying what LSU is on offense? If the game is close tomorrow the MELTDOWN on this board will be biblical.
I am sorry coach - I shouldn't have given a logical answer as to how the Towson gameplan doesn't translate directly to Florida and how a Florida D that gave yards to even Bowling Green and Kentucky will throttle LSU.
My apologies.

That is not the point.
How is that not the point?
Do you feel like taking it easy and/or trying out new things when you are playing a cupcake and you know that you can pull out the big guns at any time and win or do you try it against UF/SC/MSU?
There was a new OL configuration that had to be tested for even the most common plays and yes it needs testing. Otherwise why the hell would there be fumbles by players or mishaps in snapping or botched field goals.
Everything needs testing and unfortunately the OL had a new look that day and it had to be tested.

Calm down California dreamer. If you want to go with stats look at what Auburn was ranked in run D when they played us and Towson isn't even on the radar. My logic says put 8-9 men in the box you stop the run. The pass protection and WR have proven to be inconsistent. To me Mett isn't bad.
Offense isn't anywhere near a complete level. Which poses huge problems.
Gator's D matches up well against our pass which will force us to run. They have had problems stoping the run like you had said but we will see what two weeks of prep and returning players will bring. I'm thinking the Offense struggles until 3rd to 4th quarter tomorrow. I may be wrong but the Defense will bail us out of this one again.

Name calling - really! The failsafe crutch of the weak.
You are basing your points on your analyses of the situation and refuse to accept the possibility that teams prepare differently for inferior teams/cupcakes.
You are also not able to see that Auburn was a fierce rival/the first road SEC game for Mett and that the fumbles played a big part of it akin to how Bama fared against UT with a similar score in that situation.
Again try to get out of your polemic and get into a discussion.

Hope your right, but every game plan against us for last few years and will be going forward is put 7-9 in box every down to take away the run. Makes us pass which can't do effectively. This will be a close one.
