Tailgates may pop up and you may get an invite. I wouldn’t count on it though. Modesto and WalkOns are both within a stone throw for pregame beers or drinks.

Overall food recs while you’re here

Louisiana Lagniappe - expensive but delicious
Parrains- moderate cost , always good
Elsie’s - not expensive, varied menu and everything is delicious.
Phil’s Oyster Bar - never had a bad meal here
Drago’s- gotta try the chargrilled oysters here , can get expensive quick
Chimes- BR landmark and cheap
Blue Corn - always good, best Mexican in Baton Rouge (not typical Tex-mex) not too crazy expensive
Sushi Yama - best rolls in BR but shite atmosphere. Expensive
Tsunami - top atmosphere for anywhere in BR, solid sushi
Chow Yum Phat - Asian food including ramens, noodles, fried rice, different dumpling appetizers, etc. cheap and always delicious. Try the bread pudding
