No.
The W/L record may not show it, but Maryland has actually beat good teams. LSU hasn't.
I just don't get the point of the article. Saying becasue Maryland beat them with a hot player, LSU can too?
Maryland beat them cuz they wanted it more and they are probably a better team than LSU.
LSU will get destroyed tomorrow, but it doesn't take away from what they've accomplished this year.
FYI: If LSU played in the ACC they would be around 7-9 in conf play.

They are just describing how teams similair to LSU match up well against the Tarheels.

If you read "CJ is so thin" article from NC paper you probably will get the same story. Good guard play can beat NC.
