ESPN also thinks that Wally Pipp guy should lose his job to Lou Gehrig even when he's healthy enough to play.

The TV analyst during the MSU game said the same thing.

no...thats the point of my sarcasm. Its pretty obvious you don't start JJ when he comes back.

Is that supposed to be some kind of industry insight ? That's common sense.

I personally believe that Kelvin Sheppard kept that team together last year and salvaged a 11-2 season.
Of course you do.

And this topic is kinda silly. Of course Lee should still start if JJ comes back. This is not even a debate.

Lee's job to lose, and even if he does (which I dont think happen) it should be to Mett, with JJ as a rotated QB much like Flynn/Periloux

I didn't mean that as a shot at anybody. My point was that after the Tennessee game, Les was taking a ton of heat, and deservedly so. You can't blame it all on Crowton, the head coach is there to make sure that certain things are done right, and he flat out admitted after the game to Jordy Hultberg on live radio, "We thought we would score on the Jefferson run, so when he didn't get in we had to quickly decide on the next play." With Les taking so much criticism, I believe (from what I read on here and elsewhere) that Kelvin Sheppard called a couple of team meetings and refused to let that team crumble. Kelvin was a great team leader!! That's all, no harm meant by my statement.

There isn't one white, educated fan who would take Jefferson at this point. I'm sure a few blacks will take him in a heartbeat as will a few morons who like to watch high school offenses. But you can't bring in a guy who hasn't practiced and hasnt been focussed in over a month.

I agree. Lee should remain the primary QB if Jefferson returns. However, I'm sure there would be some Jefferson packages for certain situations.

why?
you want to take the ball out of who's hands?
Ware?
Ford?
Shepp?
RR?
OBjr?
Lee throwing?
JJ is low man on the totem pole in regards to whom Id like to have touches given too.
If he has it, then thats 1-2-3-4-5-6-7 or 8 less touches one of those other mentioned player gets.

why the sudden speculation about JJ returning
Because he wasn't the one kicking in that video.
