Turns out to be a give every time and you keep contain

Since there is a lot of talk about how to defend the option

You’re leaving out the part where everyone on their line, including their runningbacks, are stronger than anyone we have on defense

Depends. They ran some power read and midline where the QB reads the interior defensive linemen. They weren’t just running standard zone reads every play

You wouldn't leave 2 men unblocked so either way you want to look at it that's how to defend. The power concept doesn't change the fact that QB didn't have a guy assigned to him.
