I mean... isn't that what almost every football coach wants these days? To spread the field while running and passing the ball effectively. Lets not act like this is some crazy new concept he has come up with

My point is that his answer is almost the most vague answer you can give. "We want to do everything well. Play with tempo, but still be physical. Spread the field, but still have a physical run game. Run 4 wide, but still be able to put a fullback in the game and run down hill." At some point you have to establish an identity, and he has yet to do that.

No one said he came up with a new concept. Who said or inferred that? Your being asinine. I'm sure you get that alot.

And I think he IS establishing an identity. Pay attention! You just want to argue. I'll just skip over your posts until you educate yourself.

With that said, you are a Tiger fan, and I hope your team wins every week.

No he didnt. He has said almost the same thing over and over , just the results werent quite there. But what he said was almost exactly the same thing in every press conference the past 3 years.

O is pretty good at telling people what they want to hear. Promising "change" is the easiest way for people to extend faith in him for a longer period of time.

Man , you boys come up with some dumb shite.

Do you think he is trying to keep hope with people....is that his job? Wouldnt the easiest way to fix that be to actually change?

Or do you think he is just trying to win games? C'mon man!!!

Defense has let us down on several occasions.

If we went into this season with that same offense he would be in hot water in short order.

But he's not in hot water, You are saying something that didnt even happen. Why do that? Makes you sound like your grasping for straws to prove yourself.

By the way....

I think the fact that O hired Matt Canada was a frickup. But the handling of the firing was great. Nice clean cut with zero recourse. The hiring of Matt was the failure.

and I dont think changing the offense to RPO is a roll of the dice, especially with all the weapons and QB built for RPO. You are just making anything O decides sound negative.

Offense isnt chicken shite, but I get your point

Brady isnt bailing him out. 10-3 isnt chicken shite.

I do agree with one thing you are saying ....we do want what is best for LSU.

Improve your posts without all the crap, and you will be better received.

A team's record doesn't mean anything about the integrity of the offense.

2011 had one of the most boring offensives ever and they went 13-1.

The identity is multiple. Finally might have the personnel to do it. The identity is USC of Carson Palmer and Matt Leinert. The identity is to be versatile and exploit the weaknesses of each defense week by week. Having a fixed identity and regimented tendencies is exactly why Bama now easily beats us. Saban went multiple 6 or 7 years ago. Miles doubled down on downhill running. Huge mistake. Ruined our QB room.

Spreading the field and still having a physical run gameis exactly what Bama does.

That 2011 offense averaged 36 points per game. One of the best offenses in LSU history.

And as far as integrity, ...integrity was the strength of the offense last season. Injury, inexperience and lack of diversity was our downfall.
