early signing day for football

Has there been any more word on having a early signing day for football. It is really hard to understand how the SEC can not see how this would save money and stop some of the last second cheating. just a thought

It would just move the last second cheating up to an earlier date.

I think there is more cheating at the end when some schools start to panic when there class is not that good , like ole miss
