Mingo needs to get bigger and stronger. That neck injury screwed up his offseason last summer. He gained mass and strength every offseason at LSU except this past year when he actually lost weight. He also played much of the year on a bad ankle which made him miss most of a game, i think against Towson or Idaho.
He could use another year to get bigger and stronger and refine his technique more. I think without the injuries he could come back next year a little heavier and if he stays healthy could easily put up more sacks and improve his draft status which is currently slipping.
That being said, regardless of when he comes out he'll have a chance to be a better pass rusher in the pros since he'll be schemed just to pressure the qb unlike what he's asked to do here.

Bruce Irvin from Hillbilly University got drafted by Seattle in the high first round. Mingo is shirley better than Irvin in most measurables and he comes better coached.Plus, with the size of OT's these days in the big leagues, Keke should do well.
Yet, he reminds me of Martez Wilson who plays like a 3/4RD pick.
I can't see him going beyond 20 in Round 1 b/c is a freak of athletic nature..sorry Anthony, but KeKe is the true Freak

He'll play LB in a 3-4 scheme but I think the transition is going to be harder than people think. He has good straight line speed but doesn't seem to move that well laterally. Not going to be good in coverage or just at LB skills in general. He is best suited for DE in a 4-3 but doesn't have the size.
