Down year in Louisiana recruiting left us vulnerable to attrition

We lost a record number of talent off a record setting team— so much so that we had to go grab grad transfers from all over just to fill the roster slots.
Last year is the first year O has been able to just use his proof of success and just start plucking kids from all over instead of relying on typically fertile Louisiana as a base.
And 2018 was a down year in Louisiana. That’s who is playing these snaps— the recruiting class of 2018. The rest are young and inexperienced.
Until we recruit the horses year in year out to have returning blue chipper sophomores and juniors, we won’t be able to withstand that sort of attrition.
Hang in there. This season is a shite show anyway.
