Nah, you see if bama beats you 3 out of 4 times you say, yup, they are better than us. When a team like Ar-kansas beats you 3 out of 4 times, it just makes you pissed because you KNOW you are better than them & it is just pissing off to think you let a team like that get the best of you. No respect earned, just pissing off points.

Reading all this has me wanting to do the same back to them next year.

But the only problem is that I am not that way. I have just a little more class than to cuss out a stranger over a damn game. In fact, if I do exchange any words with an opposing fan it's usually a handshake and a "good game". I don't give a frick how they think we don't respect them or whatever lame justification there is.

That's just white trash, period.

At least you're smart enough to not love the LSU fanbase after all the 'disrespect' we show you?

Chalk this one up as going to an Arkansas game and expecting their fans to be civil and show class is about as ridiculous as showing up to a Waffle House and expecting Grade A food and service.

Ar-Kansas got us 3 of the last 4. Yup. shite happens. Shake off their obnoxiousness and chalk it up to mountain folk who have never seen their team enter the BCS until "maybe" now. They haven't "been there before" so they don't know how to act. They are jealous of our success and it shows.

I only had a couple bad apples that I ran into, but overall most of them were fine. nothing will ever top the Kentucky fans in 2007 when it comes to being classless.

I think Don just had an isolated bad experience. Most of the Arky fans I know are a lot like LSU fans. Like LSU fans they poke fun at opposing fans but don't outright disrespect them.

And yeah Hog fans, it doesn't matter what your state legislature decrees. The root name is derived from the state of Kansas; therefore, the correct pronunciation is "Ar-KAN-zus". Les has it right.

No, Louisiana isn't pronounced "Loo-WEEZ-ee-an-uh". Our state's root name is based on King Louis XIV, not George Jefferson's wife.

Good luck to Ar-Kansas in the Sugar Bowl. They earned it by beating an LSU team that didn't seem too interested in wanting to win Saturday.

I've had the misfortune of living in the Little Rock area for the last 4.5 years. I can honestly say that a dash of everything that has been stated is true (overzealous fans, "rivalry" game for AR-Kansas, etc.) The thing I tell an Arkansas fan (when I have the pleasure of meeting one that's not a complete "homer") is that prior to living in Little Rock, I was indifferent about them and that this is a manufactured rivalry. I also think for Little Rock games you draw a completely different crowd from a socioeconomic standpoint compared to games in Fayetteville. Also, I picked Arky to win this game based on LSU's performances against Ole Miss & ULM.

To clarify my earlier point: the judge might have a point. I've never been to an Arky game in Little Rock. That crowd environment might be different than the one in Fayettville. Just sayin'...

Perhaps you should look up the correct spelling as well, hoss.

think ya'll should be more concerned with your 9 points and 75 yards of O in the second half with 5* WR's on the field going against a Soph CB with 2 starts and a true freshman CB on the other side...
Nooo i think the op realizes its just a football game and that its. Sooo your point is nothing compared to the real way humans act towards each other. But if thats what gets you hogs off, then congratulations. oink oink
