Playing QB is like swimming...

you throw someone in the water after he has learned and practiced..no problem, he will swim

you throw someone in the water without proper training, he will drown or come close to it -i.e. JL

JJ was able to get in more lessons while JL was in the water, so has been able to tread water.

Neither JL, nor JJ, have received adequate training...

...........
Next year...who knows.
Maybe, we will have someone on the staff to develop QBs..or we may burn-up (out) another not-yet-ready to play youngster.
...who in the hell really knows.
The system we have now is not a good system.

really you shouldn't compare JJ to JL. Both have different skill sets and physical tools from each other and play at different levels and handle the pressure of being thrust into a situation differently from each other.

yea but if you connect a 2000 lb weight on each(lsu coaching staff),,there's no way anyone could swim.

to many formations/schemes and lack of an identiy on offense along with bad line play held JJ back but he still 'swam'.

geeeeees, you just blamed everybody and everything BUT JJ for lack of produtction on offense.
Awesome.

Im not saying the things you mentioned arent true, but as Ive said a bunch of times, some responsiblity should lay on JJ as well.

someone made the analogy that he drowned under the weight of the coaching staff this season. I didn't claim that he swam like Mark Spitz or something just that he didn't drown, i.e., that he swam, maybe it was just a dog paddle, but he kept his head above water and made it to shore. Not to bad under the circumstances.
