It's his fault we lost the last game. Our other players won over the #1 team in college and this moron Throws the ball into their D's hands.
So we lost to Saban, in BR. Thanks to lee. Not coaching faults, we hung with them. You can only blame it on the person who gave it up.

Right now I am more worried about him learning to make LESS of the throws that I DON"T want. His INT's are ridiculous. I won't even speak on the pick6's. And what is this "MOXIE" you speak of? This kid shows no emotion. He plays with no passion. I don't doubt that he is playing hard and giving it his best shot. But I'm waiting for those of you that believe in this kid to explain why. It's a simple question.

Don't you think Crowton and Miles have "mentioned it" to him more than a few times to throw it out of bounds or take the sack. The boy just ain't learning!

At this point in his career, he should be learning from a starter (Perriloser)rather than playing in front of 93,000 fans. He was promoted to a job that he was not prepared for and I don't fault him for that. I am hopefull that he will get better which is why I believe in him.

Lee is young. That's it. He's got a huge arm, and is surrounded by a good team. He'll get better.
He will get better.
He will (hopefully) get better.

I tend to agree with your assessment. I have been willing to buy into the lack of experience train of thought, but the trend is regressing.
I think the overriding factor for me is that even if he corrects some of his mistakes, his upside will never include mobility or peripheral vision.
How could he not see the defender in his face on that third deflected INT. If he were coming from any other angle rather than dead in his face, maybe I could understand.
For me, this season was not full of high expectations. I was looking more for development from some key positions for the future of LSU football. We have seen the defense begin to show some needed improvement, but the most important position on the field appears to have gained zero experience for our future.
I don't think anyone is counting on Hatch to be the future. Lee cannot provide the mobility that has become essential to championship level college football. I'm certain JJ must be absurdly unprepared to play in games such as Sat.
But, by all accounts, he had a better arm than Terrelle Pryor in high school. You're not going to tell me that Pryor was so much more developed as a QB than Jefferson that he could not have seen more playing time in the other five games outside of FL, GA, and AL.
I mean, if you're going to burn his redshirt, there has to be a better plan than what we've seen. I know part of this is frustration at the pace of development and you can't hurry time. But I do fear we have wasted our time thus far.

Someone just needs to mention to him a few times that sometimes it is ok to run the ball, sometimes it is ok to take a sack in lieu of throwing a ball into traffic, and that no one will give him too much shite for just throwing the ball 40 yards out of bounds. Not every throw needs to be perfect.
That's Gary Crowton's job. Apparently he hasn't gotten through to JL yet.........

He just seems like kind of a bone head to me. In interviews, he looks like a drunk pledge sitting on the floor of the frat house. Maybe it is because he is so young, but he just does not come across as being very bright. Sorry, but neither does Les Miles. I brace myself everytime he opens his mouth...and then put the 2 of them together. Ugh! I just don't know if he actually sees it. He gets the play and he only sticks to one plan. He says himself that he rushes things and does not take his time. Also, was I dreaming or when he overthrew into coverage in overtime, was Byrd open at the goal line?

I don't think he was at the goalline, but I remember him being open.
