i went to LSU in the mid 90's. does anyone remember that semi retarded guy. possibly named mike?
boy he was entertaining.
i just remember working out at the rec and he'd get ready to lift and would yell out to himself stuff like
"LSU down by 4, they need a TD here. Tyler back to pass, IT'S A TOUCHDOWN, LSU WINS THE GAME!!"
he may have not been retarded mentally maybe just socially.

I know him. He was actually in a wedding party with me. We call him Shakes(still to this day)
and he was serious about it. Die hard LSU fan. Wish I had half the conviction he has for LSU sports

he was definitely a super fan. in a time before where fellow students called those guys idiots,etc. my thought was always..."ok man, take it down a notch. just one."

Yeah, they do. Some are kind of dorky/weird, but not all.

That the students would have some kind of organized chant or song and a constant clap of hands to some rythmn. Not to a song on the PA system. Rest of fans usually join in. I've visited these away games in the past 2 seasons UMass, (Memphis, Purdue, Butler at the OSC), Miss. State and even Texas A&M all do this. Right before the line-ups are announced, and sometimes during the game (Memphis fans were the loudest & most organized,. They threw blue & white confetti when the game started and remained standing until their 1st basket).
They could all shout some things out during the game - I particularly like yelling at the refs, as they do in EPL soccer!!
That the media seating be removed from the area to the right of the student section. Also, move the band higher up. More students lower down in seats, where the media ppl are currently, would have more impact than just that narrow section they have now. At UMass, Miss. St., and Texas A & M, the students had the entire section behind the basket and the band flanked them, but higher up.

Very normal guy. He would sometimes throw his back out he would shake so hard. Great guy.
I would much rather see him on the Jumbotron than that Max Headroom wanna be in TS

everytime lsu would score he would run from the bottom row up a few rows and throw a towel in the air, catch it and run back down
