His production as a playcaller has been all over the place
not when he had the reins at detroit. he did a good job and that's what they brought him in for. not the cowboys garbage that armchair fans are sniveling about.

I wanted LSU to hire a guy familiar with the college game, and its been a while since Linehan has been involved with that
irrelevant. they're bringing him in for his passing game concepts just like they did with brady

Let's call it what it is; they don't trust Ensminger to run the offense
good grief. it's hilarious you think you know this. the elite teams have a room full of people all with a piece of the puzzle. i've already explained this to you and you keep oversimplifying the matter like it's ens by himself.

May call other people's plays on gameday?
you are special

Not having this spring practice time could show up in spurts when the games start
everyone else is in the same boat

I thought you could have full removed Ensminger from the OC role & upgraded there with a clean slate

dont love Linehan. Thought they'd bring in a younger coach that has been more engaged with the college game.
that's because you're an ignoramus. i have no idea whether he will work out but he has exactly what they're looking for in passing concepts.

Just not sure it’s the ideal makeup of a coaching staff
no one ever is sure. but on paper, this staff is every bit as strong as last year's. you trade a brand new guy in brady for a guy who has a TON more experience in linehan. faulk was multiple rings. the guy knows the position and winning. pellini is going to bring the fire.

so what exactly is your point?

My point was made CLEARLY.

We will find out in 4 key games this Fall EXACTLY the Caliber of Ensminger & Lineham.

Had Joe Brady stayed, my expectations would have been increasing the passing in YEAR 2 from 54% to 60% (Payton Template) and LSU playing 15 games again.

Again, we’ll clearly see if Ensminger & Linehan can keep LSU in the limelight and Playoff Picture.

I feel like you didn’t even read my post. The exact quote you just quoted said is me saying he’s been all over the place. You try & disagree but then you explain exactly what I just said he did some good things in Detroit in spots... wasn’t always great at other places= “all over the place”

quote:

irrelevant. they're bringing him in for his passing game concepts just like they did with brady

They are paying him 2x as much as Brady was making and as much as E was making until his recent raise

If they wanted someone to directly replace Brady they would have just hired Callaway or Mangas for $400k & not spend $800k on Linehan

You “explaining” something to me is supposed to hold weight? Lol

The next time I put any credence into what an apologist says will be the first time

LSU’s offense was not good under Ensminger. They’ve made moves in back to back years proving they have no faith in him. This is not me being mean or talking shite. It is literally what happened

everyone else is in the same boat

Everyone else lost 20 players to the draft & both coordinators?

Everyone else lost a heisman QB?

Or five 1sts?

Cmon man

Replace 60% of the OL; plus Thad moss. And your starting LT is currently suspended

If you’re not a little concerned then you don’t understand how OL play works

you kept stating it was brady and not ensminger, not that you know any such thing, and it's a stupid oversimplification anyway

detroit was ostensibly his offense. dallas was not. detroit is really the only relevant piece of info

ok genius. somehow you're a mind reader and know what is going on in the fb ops building even though the only time you've ever been in there was when you were taking a tour and when you were a janitor there cleaning the floors

You “explaining” something to me is supposed to hold weight?
yes. too bad you didn't even understand it

quote:

The next time I put any credence into what an apologist says will be the first time
i'm not an apologist. i've been telling you facts halfwit

quote:

LSU’s offense was not good under Ensminger

quote:

They’ve made moves in back to back years proving they have no faith in him
first, no they haven't. i've explained this to you about three times now. second, you have no idea what's going on. you're a keyboard jockey with stupid takes

quote:

Everyone else lost 20 players to the draft & both coordinators?
as far as current players practicing together, what i stated was a fact. lsu has PLENTY of returning players with experience just like everybody else except lsu's returning players have a ring

quote:

Replace 60% of the OL
lsu will be returning multiple o linemen who have game experience so your dumb percentage is misleading
