As per Rivals Radio last week LSU is as talented or more than Bama position by position, but Bama has far superior coaching.

Guess what negaTigers, Saben did not recruit McElroy... SHULA DID!!! Hmm... I guess Saben is just winning all of these games because of Shula's ability to evaluate quarterback talent.

Totally disagree. A short passing game does wonders for JJ because he doesn't have much time to throw, but we call long routes with no drop offs consistently.

as per me, no we're not. no way you can look at the lines, linebacker, running back, qb and returner and conclude that.

No way.

Has anyone ever seen McElroy play when Alabama wasn't rushing for three and four yards a carry?

LSU's problems begin and end with the offensive line and our coaches' inability to enact a game plan to cover up that weakness.

bama's oline and dline is the reason they have been so good this year. How bout this, you put bama's oline and dline on our team what result do you get then? i say we are much better with their lines.

also remove the starting qb and running back like LSU lost, the game would've been different...

Can McElroy play guard and call plays?

too numerous to mention.
Much stronger front 7 with D line and LB
Much more dominant OL
Better offensive scheme
Better running backs
Better coached and mature QB
Better head coach

I agree it begins with our O-line. Doesn't end there though. We don't get pressure very often with our D line. We take sacks during the worst possible situations. Our blitz packages are picked up too often by other teams O-line. Our coaching hasn't been solid. Our bend but don't break mentality on defense doesn't allow enough offensive opportunities. Those are just a few of our problems.

The only thing I've seen McElroy do that is impressive is not make mind-numbingly stupid mistakes. He's very average in every other facet of the game. So basically, he's the perfect QB for a team with a great D and great running game. LSU doesn't have a great running game and McElroy can't be relied on to make plays, so he wouldn't work here.

he can check out of a bad play, re-align the offense, check down and move around in the pocket. Not knocking JJ at all, but McElroy is a much more intelligent player at this point.

You put Jefferson on Alabama's team and they're still undefeated.

I am sorry, but I had enough. Saban can coach and Bama has showed up to play big time. Stop the threads about Jefferson going 12-0 with Bama's talent this year. Whose fault is that? I give total credit to Bama for coaching and recruiting. Get used to it, because Bama has everyone coming back. They will own us for a while. We got fans talking about winning a National Championship when we can't beat Fla, Bama, or Ole Miss. Some of you guys are delusional.

Sorry, I was talking about our offensive problems, not overall problems. My bad.
