He was great last year in run stopping, he had a problem with covering fast receivers or deep coverage as a safety. It's actually smarter to have him at LB because he's coverage can improve more at that position than at safety. Plus he's close to 225 and he's got speed so he has good range for a LB. He's a good match for Oregon's offense, Minter will be a good match against traditional offenses like Alabama. That's probably what Chavis is planning. Minter at MLB for 4-3 sets and Hatcher for 4-2-5

first time noticing that Randle's listed as a backup PR AND KR. had only seen PR before. I thought Paul Turner had crept up to the 2 deep on KR.
