I think Alt as he typically does gives about as fair and accurate assessment as anyone and I would echo his analysis.
LSU's defense is legit, they have length and athleticism and the desire and enthusiasm to play defense for 40 minutes, and the depth to go all out for that length of time. They have taken that on as their identity and embraced it.
Auburn will be the best team we've played and will test our defense more than any team we've played to this point.
Eason has emerged as our best player and he is a true two-way player who excels on both ends of the court. He will see this as a challenge personally to show he belongs on the court with Jabari Jr. Will he be able to live up to that challenge? It will be interesting to see.
I can't wait.

We only have 1 starter from last year named Darius Days, When he is on, he can come up big outside. This team is not built on outside shooting.
FWIW Days had a good game at Auburn 2 years ago. 19 points in 25 minutes and 3-8 from 3. And I was there it was rowdy and raucous for that game.
LSU lost a good lead and it went to o.t. and then Auburn got up by 7 in o.t. and we came back from that and got a steal and dunk by Williams to go up by 1 before Auburn hit that floater at the buzzer that bounced once and went in.
Mays had a monster game that day but had a key turnover late in regulation that Auburn took advantage of to get to o.t.
It was a very entertaining game, if we get in that position late again, I like our chances with the way we get after it on D. Big if.

I think it'll be a game in low 60s

LSU is capable of blowing out Auburn. But if we don’t knock down our open looks, de’ja’ vu 1996, a Barn Burner!
