Miles did a poor job in this game no doubt. He is still a pretty damn good coach and I don't see a reason to hit the panic button over one bad game. This offense improved a ton from last season and they will be better next season if Mett can be just an adequate QB.

except crowton wasn't in the dome on monday night, but two common denominators from last year and this year were----Miles and JJ

This. The offense didn't look that way through the beginning of the season. And how was JL supposed to play against Alabama in the first game, knowing already, as we did, that Les was going to give him the hook as soon as he could justify it? Hard to perform when your reps are being taken, and you are looking over your shoulder at Les' favored son telling the world he is back to reclaim his rightful spot the whole time.

I think Crowton has a huge part in creating (or destructing) the QB's on the team this year. They were not recreated over the spring and summer.
Agree.

i looked like Crowton's offense to me. Didnt the current OC work under Crowton? Didnt Les learn alot and put up with the same for last few years? We changed from that with Lee after JJ suspended. Then we went back to it after JJ returned.

I think it will be evident early next season that Mett would have had the skills and knowledge to start this past season.

yep, i think we are going to be more pissed next year that this guy was on the bench all this year...

i think he blows it up next years.....its gonna look twice as good as our first 7 games....and our first 7 games we looked great on offense..

bullshite.

You people need to quit trying to blame gRy crowton for jj being a below avg qb.
Lee progressed during his time here, jj isn't an ounce better today than he was vs ga tech 4 fricking years ago.
Get over it, be happy he is done.

You can't blame Crowton for the BCS performance...if so, you'd also have to give him credit for the 13 wins.

if crowton was here, i promise you wouldve seen a better gameplan. or at least a change in strategy after halftime.
