The basis of the story is true. I will guess it was 1980 or 1981. Pledge by the name of n.d. From baton rouge had been at the stadium all day as was the custom back then. He and probably the entire freshman "Greek" class was there. The male pledges and their dates had to get in line early to get in quickly to save seats for the actives. Our fraternity sat close to the bottom of the stands. Before the game even started, this guy chuncks an empty pint bottle and nails a cheerleader in her shoulder. He did it so early that there was nothing really going on. The cops nabbed him immediately and away he went. As for the cheerleader, she was from baton rouge. Her initials we j.s. I don't think she was seriously injured. Btw, getting booze into death valley was simple back in the day.

Forgot to mention that was not "crazy". My favorite moment was just before some Mississippi state game. I was introduced to my future wife at a tailgate party.

Tenn 2005 Monday night football in ts. I was watching the visiting team get off the bus a d someone cast a big fat Krispy Kreme in phat Phil's face as he made his way into the stadium. The look on his face... Hilarious! Dude was livid.

Then of course they won and planted the flag on the 50 and posed for pics. That bus had trouble leaving. shite got real.
