Cover 3 Podcast is a podcast that covers college football nationally. It's Chip Patterson, Tom Fornelli, and Barton Simmons.
They had an episode today where they did a 12 round draft amongst the 3 of them, picking RB/WR/TE's - so 36 total picks. Disclaimer - the way they did the draft was set up to value younger players more. They were drafting on the basis of building a CFB team for the next 3-4 years.
Jamarr Chase was the 1st overall pick.
Arik Gilbert went 4th overall (after Chase, Rondale Moore, Etienne)
Terrace Marshall went 10th round
Kayshon Boutte went 10th round (For recruiting fans - Rakim Jarrett and Jermaine Burton were not drafted btw)
Part of why Gilbert went so high is he is a freshman, but still. They said they wouldnt be surprised if he is the best freshman in CFB this year - he is that good. Pretty impressive set of skill positions we have. They basically said LSU has 4 of the best 36 skill position players to build a team around - and that doesn't include guys like McMath, Palmer, TDP, Emery, Curry etc. which we all know are very capable players in their own right.
ETA: Forgot one of them (Tom Fornelli) also made a comment that Jamarr Chase is the best non-QB in CFB

I like this podcast and the Barton and Bud podcast.
Late Kick is good too. Just a different style.

Cover 3 is an excellent podcast and puts out content pretty frequently.

His takes on LSU have been way off base since Coach O was hired.

I like it too. Good podcast for the national perspective. And I LOVED hearing Tom Fornelli eat crow every week after LSU whooped
