Do you realize that a cornerback is supposed to play the ball not the man. I don't think that you do. So all your smart arse comments can stop now. I didn't see one play where our cb turned his head around and looked for the ball. Pass interference could have been called on us over a dozen times. So who do you blame? Is Raymond not teaching proper technique ? Are the players not bringing what they are taught in practice to the field on gameday? I mean something is wrong and it's pretty easy to see. It has nothing to do with age . FML!!!

does it?

Yes it does, there is really no other explanation for you to call him the best in the business at what he does. He has done absolutely nothing to garner that praise.

Nick Saban has been churning out top level secondaries and nfl players for YEARS, and is continuing to do so. How is Corey Raymond better thn why he does than nick Saban?

i have no connection to either of these guys

I really hope that's not true, for your sake. Otherwise your posts about Raymond seem even worse.

you obviously dont know who corey raymond was before he got to lsu.

You mean the guy that came to lsu with a grand total of 3 years of full-time college coaching experience under his belt? And prior to that, was a GA at lsu and a high school coordinator? That's the guy that is the best in the business at what he does?

I don't give a shite what he did as a player at lsu or in the nfl. Good player does not automatically equal good coach.

i meant as a DB coach...saban is a head coach, i was talking purely as a position coach so i should have worded that differently.

i know more about whats going on inside of the program than most people on this board. OUR PLAYERS ARE NOT GOOD, these are not nfl caliber guys even if they played for saban...they would be riding the pine there.

he was basically the db coach during that time and no that is not an assumption or guess. he did well at Utah state and nebraska and was one of the most coveted coaches after the 2011 season in the country

Saban IS the DB coach. Especially if you are going to argue that Raymond, when he was a GA at lsu, "basically was the DB coach"

Of course you do. Just as you knew Claiborne would become the best cb in the country at lsu before he even got to lsu. Like I said, you are truly all knowing

Ron cooper made a career out of turning "NOT GOOD" players into great players and "not nfl caliber guys" into nfl players at multiple schools. You are arguing here that Raymond is incapable of doing that. So once again, how is Corey Raymond a better coach than Ron cooper? And how is Corey Raymond the best in the business at hat he does?

Well if that's truly the case, lsu had a grand total of 4 DBS drafted in his 3 years as "basically the DB coach" and one of those was laron Landry. By comparison, cooper had 6 players drafted that were strictly under his tutelage.

The hyperbole you are throwing around for this guy that just has not accomplished all that much yet in his young coaching career is truly astounding, and it makes your comment that you have no perineal connection to him seem extremely unlikely.
