ok that makes sense, you are correct and this may be what we have to get use to in college baseball.
We want to protect the players
this protection aspect in all sports is taking away from the quality of the game. It has happenedi in football and baseball. I don't think I've seen much in this aspect with basketball but LSU basketball has sucked the last couple of years so not many people care around here.

Yeah Jeff Thompson threw a gem last Sunday. That series really should have went 3 games but that's baseball. Just look at the opening round so far.

I predict Indiana to win tonight, probably a high scoring game but they were the hottest team coming into the CWS. You can argue LSU but the Tigers were playing where they were suppose to be playing. Indiana's playing beyond their level right now.
