I don't agree. he can't get his team to complete a pass but that has nothing to do with the "modern" game at all. he has wide open receivers that the qb can't get the ball to, he has an OL that can't accomplish their assignments and he has terrible punters and kick off guys.
he may need this "modern" passing game later but he damn sure didn't need it Saturday. Wisconsin doesn't employ the "modern" passing game either.

Has anyone else noticed we are in 3rd down in the blink of an eye. It's like we can't make a 1st down on first or second down. And when you're 3rd down conversion rate sucks, adds insult to injury. CLM needs to go, Cameron can go, even King can go, clean house from the top down.

What I can't seem to understand about miles is - if he wants to be a running team at least put 3 maybe 4 receivers out there to spread the defense out. Defenses are in a run blitz nearly every play bringing more men then lsu can block . With 3 to 4 wr,s in the play the defense has to use 4 to 5 players to cover them , seems simple to me but obviously not to the 2 , 5 million dollar men

I would agree with this, except his early offenses particularly 2007 were modern. Either he understood those offenses or he allowed his OC to do the job.

Les didn't handcuff Crowton in 2007 though. So he is, or was, capable of letting an OC run a modern offense.
