My dad went to Clemson, and I grew up a Clemson fan.
from what I remember they have mostly good fans, some real hill billy fans though. Only reason they would be mean at all is cause they want to beat an SEC team so bad. Been a rough couple years for them against SEC. (Auburn this year barely counts)
In the end nothing comes close to our fanbase

They are very similar to Auburn fans. It's the same kind of intense inferiority complex, if you know what I mean. They seem overly nice and polite, but when the chips are down they cheat and bite. The best comparisons are Jim Bakker and Jimmy Swaggert preachers on stage and perverts off.
This is just a generalization. Many of them are nice people.
