Agree. As good as that 1 year was, and it was better than Fulton's that particular year, generational talent(which no one can really define at this point since there's a new one yearly and that's not how it works) doesn't equal generational player, particularly one that some, including myself, think may have some quit in him.
Fulton and Stingleys career status is about equal imo. Both had 1 great year with the others riddled by injury/motivation. Fulton overcame and became great. Stingley was great but hasn't shown the ability or real willingness to overcome so I give a slight nod to Fulton.

Stingley was ahead of Patrick Peterson as a true freshman in knowledge of the game. Athletic ability very close.
Stingley was an All American as a true freshman

When he played, he was an elite cover corner. Very sticky so he was never targeted.

People see the stats that Stingley had his freshman year but don’t realize there was a reason, guys refused to throw it to KFs side of the field even if it meant throwing it to DS
