The next few days are critical. The conversation needs to get louder. And they need a convincing win Saturday. If all that occurs, I say 33%

Best chance is by beating Oklahoma and Clemson beating Va Tech. Then hope for some love from the voters.

0% because of the ESPN influence on the voters. If all they here is Bama this and Bama that I don't see anything changing IMO

If OSU gets an inspired win against OU and VT loses, I'd say 35% to 40% chance OSU makes it.

On paper (or in the computers), it's not even close how much better a candidate Okie St is over Bama..

... but there are voters & talking heads that think Bama is still the better team ("Bama gave LSU the game; LSU didn't win it") even though 98% of them don't want to watch another FG fest.

IF OSU can dominate OU by 3 TD's, I think it'll be enough for the voters to justify voting for OSU to jump over Bama in the polls. The computers will have them above Bama. But that's a big IF to simply beat OU, especially after the awful way they played against Iowa State.

I think the fact that they don't play a championship game anymore hurts them. Playing that extra game has a certain caché.

Clearly OSU is the only team with a shot. The shot is pretty small.

I say less than 5% chance at this point.
If they win, maybe 20%.

It won't happen regardless if ESPN continues to clearly lobby for Bama.

DEFINITELY hurts them. Also would be nice for OSU if Stanford had another game to possibly lose.

They have to demolish Oklahoma and look very impressive doing it to even get a look from the voters.

no they won't. They need Clemson to beat Va Tech to remove that buffer and a win over a top 10 OU. The .08 gap in the BCS will close to .02 with a win over OU based on comps alone. They need all #3 votes and 25% of #2. Basically, they need 15 #2 votes in coaches and 44 #3 votes along with around 32 #2 votes in harris and 83 #3 votes. They non-rematch crowd will be huge in OSU getting in. Just need Clemson to take care of business.

If the wins and losses happen - I think it's better than 50%.

a.) nobody wants an all sec final (outside sec) - pac 10 , big east and big 12 voters will mostly bump OK St.
b.) bama doesn't play next week - out of site- out of mind.
c.) the REAL lobbying will begin. Ok State has to wait until they win to say anything.
