Ogletree is an outside linebacker. Minter is a middle linebacker. Any team looking at Ogletree has a need at OLB. If a team has a specific need at OLB, i dont see how Ogletree's situation helps Minter at all unless they also have need at MLB.
NBC sports: "Former Georgia linebacker Alec Ogletree, a likely first-round pick in the 2013 draft and one of the top prospects at inside linebacker, was arrested recently for DUI."
ESPN: Alec Ogletree* ILB 6'3" 237 Georgia

Ogletree is an ILB, especially fitted for a 3-4. Minter is a prototypical 4-3 MLB. If I need a ILB for a 3-4, I'm taking Ogletree ahead of Minter. That's not to say that Minter can't be very good in a 3-4.

This is from a pre-draft interview with Patrick Willis years ago:
I'm not saying that Minter is or will be as good as Willis but they currently are around the same size. Minter has plenty of bulk to play in a 3-4. He is no Vilma.

Hey hows it going? Do you prefer to play in a 3-4,4-3, or cover 2 style defense?

I can't really speak about the 3-4, because I've never played in that system. But I would have to say a 4-3, because that's what I know the best. That's what I played in college.
