Fail again. I was looking for Jones to step up and be the player most thought he would be. There were a lot of people debating whether he or Eric Berry was the best in the SEC but I was not one of them.

. He may tackle better, but he will be toasted in coverage, because he has not had near enough time to learn the proper assignments. I mean you want to take a guy that our coordinator called one of the best athletes he has ever coached and sit him for one bad game

I'm not saying that yet. I'm saying he was very disappointing in the game. The thread is to find out what other people think. I keep thinking he is a great player and I look for him to make plays. But I am beginning to wonder if he is in fact the player we all thought he was going to be. I would probably keep him in for the time being and hopefully he did just have an off night.

I have not read the Rant until just now. Yes, unfortunately there are tons of fairweather fans and people saying we are going down and all that crap. Major overreaction. I find it annoying as well.
But I am merely talking about the play at a specific position and if nothing else, I think we can discuss it. Surely we can talk about parts of the game where we had trouble?
